Hundreds of Scientologists assembled at the Váci Road church in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.
Dedicated in July 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary featured a religious eu news now service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.
Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
